It is also anticipated to support 90W wired charging and 30W wireless charging. If confirmed, this would make the X Fold 5 the first foldable smartphone to offer such a significant battery size.
The tipster added that the standard model of the Vivo X Fold 5 is projected to be more affordable than the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, which launched in March 2024 in China at a price of CNY 9,999 (approximately Rs. 1,16,000) for the variant featuring 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
In addition, the higher-end version of the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, which includes 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, was priced at CNY 10,999 (around Rs. 1,27,600) at launch. The base Vivo X Fold 3, with its 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, began at CNY 6,999 (roughly Rs. 80,000).
