Vivo launched the X Fold 3 in March of last year, and it now appears that the company is gearing up for the introduction of its successor. Contrary to earlier predictions, the upcoming model is expected to be named Vivo X Fold 5. A recent report suggests that Vivo may bypass the Vivo X Fold 4 name due to cultural sensitivities surrounding the number four, known as tetraphobia.
The anticipated Vivo X Fold 5 is rumored to retain the 8.03-inch internal display found in its predecessor. Speculations indicate that the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, complemented by a robust 6,000mAh battery.
