The Vivo V60 is currently under development and is anticipated to launch shortly. This upcoming smartphone from the Vivo V series has reportedly been listed on Malaysia’s SIRIM certification website and the TUV SUD platform, suggesting its impending release. The Vivo V60 is expected to be a successor to the V50 model, which was introduced in India earlier this year in February. It is believed to feature hardware specifications similar to those of the Vivo S30, which was launched in China in May, and is projected to be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset.
Vivo V60 Certifications Suggest Upcoming Asian Launch
According to Xpertpick, the yet-to-be-announced Vivo V60 has been certified on both the SIRIM and TUV websites under the model number V2511. The SIRIM certification verifies the phone’s name, while the TUV listing indicates support for 90W fast charging capabilities.
This appearance on certification websites implies that a launch for the Vivo V60 in the Asian market may be close. However, Vivo has not officially announced any details regarding the launch date, so these updates should be regarded with caution.
The Vivo V50 debuted in India in February, serving as a rebranded version of the Vivo S20, which first launched in China in December 2024. Following this trend, the Vivo V60 is expected to be based on the Vivo S30 model released in China in May, with rumors suggesting its introduction might occur in August.
The Vivo S30 features a 6.67-inch 1.5K (1,260×2,800 pixels) AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, with options for up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. The device also sports a triple rear camera setup, led by a 50-megapixel Sony LYT700V 1/1.56-inch sensor, along with a 50-megapixel front-facing camera. Additionally, it houses a 6,500mAh battery capable of 90W fast charging.
In terms of pricing, the Vivo S30 is available in China, starting at CNY 2,699 (approximately Rs. 32,000) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. Conversely, the Vivo V50 is priced at Rs. 34,999 in India for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration.
