Last month, Vivo introduced the Y19 5G in India, featuring a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor and a robust 5,500mAh battery. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer is now set to launch another Y series device in the country in the near future. While specific details regarding the model name have not yet been disclosed, leaks suggest that the new device will sport a curved AMOLED display.
According to a report by 91mobiles, sourced from industry insiders, Vivo is preparing to release a fresh addition to its Y-series lineup. This new device is anticipated to be the slimmest smartphone in India with a 3D curved AMOLED display, targeting the affordable segment under ₹15,000.
The forthcoming Vivo Y series smartphone is expected to be offered in three color variants: festive gold, freestyle white, and nebula purple. Notably, the freestyle white option is rumored to come with a distinctive pattern on its rear panel. The device is anticipated to have a sleek thickness of just 7.49mm.
Details such as the phone’s actual name, release date, and additional specifications remain undisclosed at this time. Vivo currently offers several models with curved displays, including the Vivo Y78 5G, Vivo Y200 Pro, and Vivo Y300 Plus.
