Vivo has expanded its T4 smartphone lineup this year, with the latest addition being the Vivo T4 Lite 5G, which debuted in India last month. This new model features a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor and a substantial 6,000mAh battery. In addition to this release, the company is reportedly in the process of launching another variant in the T series, named the Vivo T4R, which is anticipated to be its inaugural offering in the ‘R’ segment. Speculation suggests the Vivo T4R will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity chipset.
Expected Pricing for Vivo T4R 5G in India
According to reports from 91Mobiles Hindi, Vivo plans to introduce the Vivo T4R 5G in India soon. This model is expected to utilize the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset and provide IP68 and IP69 ratings for enhanced dust and water resistance.
The Vivo T4R 5G is likely to be positioned between the Vivo T4x and Vivo T4 in terms of features and pricing. Analysts suggest a price range between Rs. 15,000 and Rs. 20,000 for the new device. For context, the Vivo T4x starts at Rs. 13,999 for its 6GB + 128GB variant, while the Vivo T4 is priced beginning at Rs. 21,999 for the 8GB + 128GB option.
Within Vivo’s current T4 series, there are four models: Vivo T4, T4x, T4 Ultra, and T4 Lite. The Vivo T4 Ultra stands out as the flagship model, equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor and a 5,500mAh battery. It features a sophisticated triple rear camera setup, which includes a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens.
The Vivo T4 5G offers notable specifications, such as a 6.77-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display, dual rear cameras with a 50-megapixel main sensor, and a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. It is powered by a 7,300mAh battery with 90W wired charging capabilities and is equipped with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC.
On the other hand, the Vivo T4x runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset and features a 6,500mAh battery with 44W charging support. It showcases a 6.72-inch full-HD+ display and a dual rear camera configuration that includes a 50-megapixel sensor, alongside an 8-megapixel selfie camera.
The Vivo T4 Lite 5G also possesses a 50-megapixel dual rear camera system. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, the device incorporates a 6,000mAh battery.
