In advance of the release, the company has disclosed several important features of the device, which include display and camera specifications. Details regarding the chipset and overall design have already been confirmed, along with an anticipated price range for the smartphone in the Indian market. This model is expected to expand the existing Vivo T4 series, which currently comprises the basic Vivo T4, T4 Lite, T4 Ultra, and T4x variants.
Price and Key Features of Vivo T4R 5G in India
The Vivo T4R 5G is expected to be priced under Rs. 20,000 in India, according to information available on the Flipkart microsite. Recent leaks suggest the retail price will likely range from Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 20,000. The smartphone will be offered in blue and silver color variations and will officially launch at 12 PM IST on July 31. It will be available for purchase through the Vivo India e-store, Flipkart, and selected offline retailers.
A microsite on Flipkart outlines that the Vivo T4R 5G will feature a quad-curved AMOLED display, supporting HDR10+ and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. This display is also certified by SGS for low blue light emissions. With a slim profile of just 7.39mm, it is projected to be the thinnest phone in its category with such a curved display design.
The company previously announced that the Vivo T4R 5G will utilize a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 sensor for its primary rear camera. Additionally, the microsite now indicates the presence of a secondary 2-megapixel bokeh lens on the back. For selfies and video calls, a 32-megapixel front camera is included, with both front and rear cameras supporting 4K video recording capabilities.
Powering the Vivo T4R 5G will be the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 SoC built on a 4nm architecture, boasting an impressive AnTuTu score exceeding 750,000. The device is also anticipated to meet IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
