Vi has joined forces with Vivo India to provide an exclusive prepaid bundle plan featuring 5G connectivity and complimentary access to OTT platforms for customers purchasing the Vivo V50e. This promotional bundle offers Vi prepaid users in India the chance to enjoy OTT and Live TV subscriptions for an extended period of up to 12 months. Additionally, subscribers will benefit from unlimited calling along with daily data allocation of 3GB. This offer is available to both existing Vi users and new customers, and can be redeemed by Vivo V50e purchasers until the end of the month.
Vivo V50e Vi 5G Bundled Plan
According to a press release from Vi, a special prepaid plan priced at Rs. 1,197 has been launched in India exclusively for buyers of the Vivo V50e. This offer is valid for 84 days and grants users access to up to a year-long subscription to Vi Movies & TV, along with 17 OTT platforms, such as Jio Hotstar, Zee 5, Sony Liv, Lionsgate Play, and Fancode, among others. Furthermore, customers will have access to over 350 live TV channels. The plan includes 3GB of daily data, unlimited voice calls, and 100 free SMS messages each day.
Vi confirmed that this exclusive prepaid plan is available for both new and existing users. It applies to anyone purchasing the Vivo V50e smartphone between April 17 and June 30, 2025. To activate the offer, users must insert a Vi prepaid SIM card into the device and recharge with the Rs. 1,197 plan.
Access to the Vi Movies & TV subscription for the first three months will be enabled after the initial Rs. 1,197 recharge. The subsequent nine months of free access will be unlocked following the next three Rs. 1,197 recharges within one year of the initial purchase, as outlined by the company.
Users can download the Vi Movies & TV app and log in using their Vi number on the Vivo V50e to commence streaming. This same number can be utilized to log in to their Smart TV for a larger viewing experience.
The Vivo V50e was launched in India in April, featuring a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, a 5,600mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging, and a dual rear camera setup of 50 megapixels, complemented by a 50-megapixel front camera. At the time of launch, the device was offered in two variants: 8GB + 128GB priced at Rs. 28,999, and 8GB + 256GB for Rs. 30,999.
Vi emphasized that this partnership with Vivo is consistent with its ongoing 5G rollout, targeting cities such as Mumbai, Delhi, Patna, and Chandigarh. The telecom giant aims to extend 5G coverage to 17 key regions throughout the country by August 2025.
