Reliance Jio has introduced a new prepaid plan aimed at its customers across India, featuring a “5G upgrade voucher.” This new recharge option enables subscribers to secure unlimited 5G data for a year. The initiative specifically targets users subscribed to the existing recharge plan valued at Rs. 299, which currently provides 1.5 GB of daily data usage.

The innovative 5G upgrade voucher allows users who do not currently have access to eligible unlimited 5G plans to enjoy unlimited 5G services. The voucher is compatible with existing plans that offer either 1.5 GB per day or 2 GB per month data allocation.
Interested customers can acquire the voucher through the company’s official website or the MyJio app. Upon purchasing the plan, prepaid users will be issued 12 separate data vouchers, each priced at Rs. 51, which also provide unlimited 5G data valid for one month.
To maintain uninterrupted access to unlimited 5G data, users must redeem all 12 vouchers. Additionally, there is an option to activate this plan as a gift for someone else, as stated by Jio.
It is essential to note that the 12 vouchers generated when activating this plan cannot be transferred to other users.
In addition to the new plan, Jio still offers three other 5G vouchers priced at Rs. 51, Rs. 101, and Rs. 151 for access to 5G connectivity. For those preferring simplicity, the 2 GB per day prepaid recharge plan is also available, granting unlimited 5G access for a full year.
In July, Jio, along with other telecom operators in the country, adjusted their tariff rates for 5G plans. Previously, Jio subscribers could access 5G plans starting from Rs. 239. Following the recent price revisions, unlimited 5G access is now available for recharge plans starting at Rs. 329.
