Tecno has announced the launch of its Pova Curve 5G in India and is now gearing up for the introduction of the Pova 7 series. Recent reports indicate that both the base and Ultra editions of the Pova 7 series have been identified in the Google Play Console database. Additionally, a leak has suggested possible launch timelines for the Ultra variant, shedding light on its design and essential features. Earlier this year, Tecno also unveiled the Pova 6 Pro 5G and Pova 6 Neo 5G in India, in March and September, respectively.
Tecno Pova 7 Ultra 5G Launch: Key Information
According to a post on X by tipster Paras Guglani (@passionategeekz), the Tecno Pova 7 Ultra 5G is projected to launch in June. Although an exact date has not been confirmed, expectations are set for an unveiling by the end of the month.

The design render shared by the tipster features the Tecno Pova 7 Ultra 5G with a distinctive triangular rear camera module, enhanced by an LED light strip along the edges. This design is consistent with a teaser that Tecno released earlier in the year. At this point, Tecno has not officially confirmed the “Pova 7” branding.
According to the tipster, the Tecno Pova 7 Ultra 5G is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate chipset. It is also anticipated to include a 6,000mAh battery that supports 70W fast charging. The device may feature a 1.5K AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 144Hz, and it is rumored to enable 120fps gameplay for PUBG.
Recently, the Tecno Pova 7 5G and Pova 7 Ultra 5G were listed on the Google Play Console, showcasing model numbers LJ7 and LJ9, respectively. These models are expected to feature 8GB of RAM and operate on Android 15. The base model might be equipped with either a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 or a Dimensity 7300X chipset.
