Swiggy Instamart has announced a partnership with Jio to provide rapid delivery services for Jio devices across India. The collaboration will enable customers to receive JioBharat V4 and JioPhone Prima handsets at their doorsteps in select cities. Instamart promises to fulfill orders for Jio feature phones within a 10-minute window after receiving the request.
Instamart is already known for its swift delivery service, currently offering quick deliveries for various smartphones from major brands, including Apple, Samsung, OnePlus, and Redmi.
Availability and Pricing of JioBharat V4 and JioPhone Prima 2
In a press release issued on Tuesday, Instamart revealed its collaboration with Reliance Jio to expedite the delivery of Jio mobile phones within 10 minutes across 95 cities nationwide. The service will feature the JioBharat V4 priced at Rs. 799 and the JioPhone Prima 2 available for Rs. 2,799, both of which are promoted for their prompt delivery.
Earlier this year, Instamart began offering rapid deliveries for selected smartphones such as the iPhone 16e and Samsung Galaxy M35. The delivery service is currently operational in major urban centers, including Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and Pune.
Specifications of JioBharat V4 and JioPhone Prima 2
The JioBharat V4 was introduced in India in October 2024. This 4G feature phone is equipped with internet capabilities and a 1,000mAh battery. It includes UPI payments via JioPay and features an integrated soundbox. The device supports expandable storage of up to 128GB and accommodates 23 Indian languages. Furthermore, it comes with the JioTV app and JioChat functionality.
On the other hand, the JioPhone Prima 2 was launched in September 2024 and boasts a 2.4-inch display, 4GB of onboard storage, and adjustable memory up to 128GB via a microSD card. This phone also allows UPI payments through JioPay and is powered by a 2,000mAh battery. Additionally, it is pre-installed with popular applications like YouTube, Facebook, and Google Voice Assistant, offering access to JioTV, JioCinema, and JioSaavn, while supporting 23 languages and operating on a Qualcomm chipset.
