Swiggy Instamart has introduced a rapid delivery service for smartphones across India. The platform will offer devices from popular brands including Apple, Samsung, OnePlus, and Redmi to customers in select areas. There are plans to expand this service to additional locations in the near future. Users can now purchase the latest iPhone 16e through the instant delivery platform, promising a swift delivery within minutes of placing the order. Additionally, various payment offers will be available for those buying smartphones via Instamart.
Smartphone Delivery Service Launched in 10 Cities
In a statement released on Monday, Swiggy Instamart revealed the commencement of its ten-minute smartphone delivery service in select Indian cities. Devices such as the iPhone 16e, Samsung Galaxy M35, OnePlus Nord CE, OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite, and Redmi 14C will be deliverable to doorsteps in major urban centers including Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Faridabad, Noida, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Pune. The company has indicated that the service will expand to other cities shortly.
The advertised delivery time for these smartphones is under 10 minutes after the order is confirmed. Furthermore, mobile phones from brands like Motorola, Oppo, Vivo, and Realme are also set to be available for quick delivery, though specific models have yet to be disclosed.
Customers can take advantage of a 5 percent discount or save up to Rs. 4,000 on purchases over Rs. 11,499 in the mobile phone category when using ICICI Bank credit cards.
In the realm of swift smartphone deliveries, competitors such as Blinkit and Zepto are already operating in various Indian cities. These brands have recently collaborated with Apple to facilitate doorstep deliveries of its products. Zepto offers fast deliveries of Vivo smartphones and Asus peripherals, while Blinkit features devices from the Samsung Galaxy S24 series, along with PlayStation 5 consoles and precious metals.
