Ubisoft has announced the post-launch content plan and Season Pass information for its upcoming action-adventure game, Star Wars Outlaws, which is set to launch later this month. The open-world title will feature two expansions focused on storytelling, with the first expected to debut this year and the second scheduled for 2025. Players who purchase the Season Pass will also gain access to a character pack and an exclusive mission featuring the legendary Star Wars character, Jabba the Hutt, at launch.
Post-Launch Content Roadmap for Star Wars Outlaws
In a blog post released on Monday, Ubisoft provided details on the timeline for the game’s post-launch content, outlining the windows for the upcoming expansions. Notably, Season Pass holders will receive the Kessel Runner character pack at launch, which will feature new outfits for the character Kay Vess and her companion, Nix. Additionally, the Season Pass will include a special mission named “Jabba’s Gambit,” where Kay takes on a quest from Jabba the Hutt. This mission will also be available when the game officially launches on August 30.
Later, in Fall 2024, players can look forward to the first story expansion titled Star Wars Outlaws: Wild Card, continuing Kay Vess’s journey. This expansion will immerse players in a high-stakes Sabacc tournament, where Kay encounters the iconic Star Wars character, Lando Calrissian.
Accompanying the first story pack, the Season Pass will also provide access to the Hunter’s Legacy Bundle and the Cartel Ronin Bundle, which will include new outfits for Kay and Nix, along with cosmetic upgrades for Kay’s speeder and ship.
Ubisoft will then roll out the second story expansion, Star Wars Outlaws: A Pirate’s Fortune, in Spring 2025. In this installment, Kay will meet the experienced pirate, Hondo Ohnaka. Both of these story expansions will be available to Season Pass holders and can also be purchased individually.
Star Wars Outlaws is scheduled for release on August 30 across PC (via Ubisoft Connect and the Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S/X. The game is currently available for pre-order on all platforms. Pre-ordering offers players the Kessel Runner Bonus Pack, which includes cosmetics for Kay’s speeder and her ship, the Trailblazer.
