Sony is poised to unveil its highly anticipated Xperia 1 VII smartphone next week, with leaked renders suggesting a design reminiscent of its predecessor, the Xperia 1 VI. The new flagship device is expected to be offered in three distinct color options and powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, complemented by 12GB of RAM. Alongside this smartphone announcement, Sony has also confirmed the launch date for its WH-1000XM6 headphones.

The leaked images suggest that the design of the Xperia 1 VII remains largely consistent with previous models. It features a tall display with the selfie camera placed within the top bezel. On the rear, a triple camera setup is located in the top left corner, accompanied by a dual LED flash.
Reports indicate that the ultrawide and main cameras sit at the top of the vertically arranged camera module, followed by the dual LED flash and a periscope telephoto camera. Additionally, the volume rocker and power button, which also functions as a fingerprint scanner, are positioned on the right side of the device.
Notably, promotional materials have disclosed that the Xperia 1 VII will be equipped with a display utilizing Sony’s Bravia technology and will feature a Sunlight Mode. A robust 5,000mAh battery is expected to provide an impressive two-day battery life.
