Slack, the prominent work management and productivity platform, announced on Thursday the introduction of 25 new artificial intelligence (AI) applications to its marketplace. These additions expand the app offerings to over 2,600, enhancing users’ ability to manage their tasks without needing to switch between various platforms. Among the newly introduced applications are Asana, Adobe Express, Glean, Perplexity, Jasper, and Wiz. The company emphasized that the integration of these apps into Slack’s interface aims to boost professional productivity for all users of the platform.
Slack Users Can Now Use Adobe Express and Perplexity Within the Platform
In a recent press release, Slack revealed the addition of these 25 AI applications while also indicating plans to incorporate 10 more AI tools in the upcoming months. The company assures users that all apps in its marketplace adhere to stringent security standards. The new applications are primarily aimed at enhancing productivity, content generation and analysis, sales and marketing, as well as functions related to human resources (HR) and IT.
Among the four newly launched productivity-focused applications is Asana, designed to assist organizations with project management and workload mapping. Clockwise is set to optimize work calendars, while UiPath provides automation tools. Graph is also introduced to aid engineering teams in retrieving information from platforms like GitHub, Jira, and Linear data.
In the realm of content generation and analysis, seven new AI-driven applications have been added. Notably, Adobe Express and Amazon Q Business are now integrated with Slack, alongside Box—a contract analysis chatbot—and Cohere, which focuses on content creation. Perplexity, an AI search engine, as well as Glean and Writer, also join the growing suite of tools available.
Sales and marketing professionals will benefit from the addition of Dovetail, a customer data analysis platform, and Gainsight, a customer success management tool. Highspot, featuring a conversational search capability for sales content, Jasper—an end-to-end marketing workflow system—and Productboard, which analyzes customer feedback, round out this category of applications.
For those in HR and IT roles, the newly enhanced marketplace now includes BambooHR, a widely-used HR automation platform, and Copado, designed to streamline and automate DevOps tasks. Moveworks, another automation-focused application targeting HR and IT functions, is now accessible on Slack.
Additionally, users will find PagerDuty, a tool for workflow management, and Ravenna, which automates ticket creation for desk inquiries. Rootly, an incident management platform that facilitates on-call operations and automates incident response, is also integrated into Slack’s interface. Lastly, the marketplace welcomes the real-time threat intelligence platform Wiz.
