The South Korean tech giant is expected to market the Galaxy Z Flip FE as an economically priced clamshell foldable smartphone, with an announcement anticipated alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the standard Galaxy Z Flip 7 later this year. In advance of the official introduction, the device has surfaced in the Geekbench online database, indicating it may be powered by the Exynos 2400 chipset.
Galaxy Z Flip FE Appears on Geekbench
A Samsung smartphone identified as model number SM-F761N has been detected in the Geekbench online database. This listing, presumed to pertain to the Galaxy Z Flip FE, features a motherboard identifier s5e9945 and a performance governor labeled energy_aware. The phone’s chipset configuration includes four cores running at 1.96GHz, three cores at 2.59GHz, two cores clocked at 2.90GHz, and a prime core operating at 3.21GHz, which are indicative of the Exynos 2400 SoC.
According to the Geekbench entry, the Galaxy Z Flip FE is expected to run on the Android 16 operating system. It achieved a score of 1,930 in single-core performance and 6,276 in multi-core performance testing. The device is listed with 7.06GB of RAM, which will likely translate to approximately 8GB in official specifications.
There has been considerable speculation surrounding Samsung’s selection of chipset for its upcoming foldable lineup. Initial rumors hinted that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE would be equipped with an Exynos 2400e SoC. However, more recent reports assert that the FE model might demonstrate specifications akin to last year’s Galaxy Z Flip 6, which features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
