Samsung has reportedly initiated the rollout of the fourth beta version of its One UI 8 firmware, based on Android 16. A source indicates that the new One UI 8 Beta 4 update is being made available for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra models specifically in Germany. While no significant new features have been highlighted, the update addresses several bugs that may have affected earlier beta versions and includes the latest Android security patch.

As shared by tipster Tarun Vats on X (formerly known as Twitter), the One UI 8 Beta 4 update is currently accessible to users of the Galaxy S25 series in Germany. The update file is reported to be around 1328.16MB in size, identified by the code ZYGB, and features one of the following build numbers:
- S938BXXU5ZYGB
- S938BOXM5ZYGB
- S938BXXU5BYGB
According to screenshots provided by the tipster, the bulk of the changes in One UI 8 Beta 4 focus on improvements and bug fixes. Notable enhancements include the introduction of full-screen video switching while utilizing Samsung DeX. Additionally, the update brings a Samsung IMS Service emergency update feature that enhances HD voice, video calling, and chat services across Galaxy devices.
The update remedies an issue related to the Galaxy AI Reply Suggestions feature, along with fixing a problem that occurred when triggering Bixby routine commands by voice, which previously caused loading difficulties.
Moreover, users can expect corrections for a display issue in the quick launch icon area on the home screen, notifications regarding ‘Fingerprint sensor not responding’ on the lock screen, and difficulties with outgoing calls when employing the Swipe to Call gesture from the Contacts list while TalkBack is enabled.
The changelog also highlights a previously identified concern involving flickering in the horizontal or vertical level indicator when users switch from the front to the rear camera, which has now been addressed.
One UI 8 Beta 4 is anticipated to improve overall software stability through various app updates. Additionally, it includes the Android Security patch for July 2025. However, it is yet unclear whether the Adaptive Lock Screen Clock feature, which was noted as absent in a testing build of the firmware, remains in the Galaxy S25 series.
