Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy XCover 7 Pro and the Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro in select international markets. Both devices are powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset and boast MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability standards. They are designed with IP68-rated dust and water resistance and feature Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ for display protection. The Galaxy XCover 7 Pro and Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro operate on Android 15, layered with One UI 7, and are equipped with AI-enhanced functionalities. Additionally, both models support 5G and Wi-Fi 6E connectivity.
Pricing for Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 Pro and Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro
The Galaxy XCover 7 Pro is priced at GBP 559 (approximately Rs. 63,300) for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, while the Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro begins at GBP 769 (about Rs. 87,100) for the same RAM and storage configuration, as confirmed in a press release. Details regarding the availability of these devices have not been disclosed yet.
Both the smartphone and tablet are expected to be available for purchase in select global markets by the end of April. However, Samsung has not yet announced the launch timeline for India.

The front camera includes a 13-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. The smartphone boasts a MIL-STD-810H certification and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, as well as customizable Top Key and XCover Key features.
The device is powered by a 4,350mAh replaceable battery. Furthermore, it is equipped with Dolby Atmos-powered stereo speakers and features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for enhanced security. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro is equipped with a 10.1-inch WUXGA (1,200 x 1,920 pixels) TFT LCD display that supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a brightness level of up to 600 nits. It features a 16:10 aspect ratio, Vision Booster capabilities, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. The tablet shares similar specifications and features with the Galaxy XCover 7 Pro, including the chipset and operating system, and supports up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage.
On the camera front, the Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro includes a 12-megapixel wide-angle rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture, accompanied by an LED flash, as well as an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video conferencing. Like the XCover 7 Pro, this tablet is certified with MIL-STD-810H and carries an IP68 rating. It is also bundled with an IP68-rated S Pen and features a customisable Active Key.
Packing a substantial 10,100mAh replaceable battery, the Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro utilizes Dual Hot-Swap battery technology, allowing users to replace batteries without powering down the device. It can also operate directly from a power source without requiring a battery. Connectivity and security features are similar to those found in the Galaxy XCover 7 Pro, and the tablet includes dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. The device measures 170.2 x 242.9 x 10.2mm in size and weighs 680g for the Wi-Fi-only model, while the 5G variant has a weight of 683g.
