On Wednesday, Samsung revealed its smart TV lineup for 2025 in India, featuring an array of models including Neo QLED 8K, Neo QLED 4K, OLED, QLED, and The Frame. This generation marks the introduction of Vision AI technology in Samsung’s smart TVs, which was initially presented at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025 in January. Now, these innovations are set to reach Indian consumers.

Samsung Smart TV Lineup: Price and Availability

The pricing for Samsung’s Neo QLED 8K range begins at Rs. 2,72,990, while the Neo QLED 4K series starts from Rs. 89,990. The OLED models are priced from Rs. 1,54,990, and the QLED smart TVs have a starting price of Rs. 49,490. Consumers can purchase Samsung’s Frame TVs starting at Rs. 63,990.

The 2025 smart TV lineup will be available for pre-order starting May 7 through Samsung’s official website, e-commerce platforms, and retail locations. Customers who pre-order during the promotional period, which ends on May 28, can take advantage of various offers including a complimentary soundbar valued at up to Rs. 90,990, a cashback of up to 20%, and no down payment on EMI transactions.

Samsung’s Smart TVs Get Vision AI Features

In a recent press release, Samsung announced that this year’s entire smart TV lineup will include Vision AI features. At CES 2025, the company stated that this technology aims to transform its TVs from being merely passive devices to becoming interactive and intelligently adaptive partners for users.

Among the features offered in the Vision AI suite is Universal Gesture Control, which allows users to operate their smart TV through simple hand movements, requiring a connected Galaxy Watch to recognize these gestures. Another innovation is the Generative Wallpaper feature, enabling users to design custom 4K resolution wallpapers for their idle screens.

Samsung has also integrated this AI system with its SmartThings ecosystem, facilitating the use of smart TVs as a central hub for various home automation functionalities. This includes providing real-time summaries about the home’s status, suggested actions, safety alerts, and more.

Furthermore, Vision AI introduces a Pet and Family Care Mode that can identify unusual activities involving pets or family members. If it detects a pet in distress or a baby uncomfortable, it adjusts smart home settings for comfort and notifies the user. Samsung emphasizes that Vision AI is built on three core components: AI Mode, AI Experience, and multi-device connectivity. AI Mode optimizes picture and sound quality based on the content and surroundings.

AI Experience serves as a personalization feature that learns user preferences over time, enhancing content discovery and providing tailored movie and show recommendations. The multi-device connectivity element allows users to link their AI TVs with other Samsung devices, such as smartphones and tablets, facilitating content sharing and TV control.
