Samsung is reportedly set to introduce the Galaxy Z Flip FE later this year, aiming to offer consumers a more budget-friendly option in the clamshell foldable phone market. The anticipated device has been identified on a Chinese certification platform, indicating a potential launch in China in the near future. The listing also includes details about the power adapter meant for the Galaxy Z Flip FE, with expectations that the smartphone will feature Samsung’s Exynos 2500 processor and visual styling akin to the Galaxy Z Flip 6.
Details Emerged from 3C Certification
A Samsung device marked with the model number SM-F7610 has appeared on the China Compulsory Certification (3C) site. Confirmation of this listing was provided by Gadgets 360, further supporting the anticipation surrounding the Galaxy Z Flip FE. This same model number had previously been identified in Samsung’s over-the-air (OTA) update database, reinforcing its association with the forthcoming smartphone.

The certification details suggest that the SM-F7610 model will support 5G connectivity. Additionally, the entry includes another identifier—EP-TA800—that corresponds to Samsung’s 25W power adapter, indicating that the phone will support 25W wired charging. Furthermore, it has been suggested that the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7 devices will also feature 25W wired charging capabilities.
Earlier, a device with the model number SM-F761B was detected on Samsung’s OTA server. In this instance, the ‘F’ denotes that the model is a foldable device, while the number ‘7’ shows its inclusion in the Galaxy Z Flip lineup.
Additional reports have indicated that the Galaxy Z Flip FE is likely to be equipped with an Exynos 2500 chipset, potentially offering configurations of up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. There are expectations for a 3.4-inch cover display coupled with a 6.7-inch inner display. However, these details should be regarded cautiously as Samsung has not confirmed any intentions to launch a more affordable foldable option at this time.
