Samsung is preparing to unveil its highly anticipated Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 in the near future. In advance of the official announcement, renders showcasing the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 have emerged online. Reports indicate that the foldable devices may also include a budget-friendly model, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. Furthermore, details regarding the storage and color options for the Galaxy Z Flip 7 series and Galaxy Z Fold 7 have been leaked by a retailer.

According to a report from Android Headlines, the leaked renders of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 show it in Blue Shadow and Jet Black colorways. The images reveal a significantly larger edge-to-edge cover display, which occupies most of the upper half of the phone and accommodates two outward-facing camera sensors positioned in the top left corner. This is a notable upgrade compared to the Galaxy Z Flip 6, which features a smaller 3.4-inch outer display.

The anticipated Galaxy Z Flip 7 is designed to be slimmer and lighter compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Flip 6. Reports suggest that it will utilize an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset, with a main core clocked at 4.47GHz. However, earlier speculation indicated the possibility of an Exynos 2500 SoC being used instead. The new model is expected to retain the same 4,000mAh battery capacity as the previous version, and its camera suite is likely to include a 50-megapixel primary sensor paired with a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens.
Furthermore, a recent leak suggests that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will introduce a new Coral Red color option, in addition to the previously mentioned Blue Shadow and Jet Black variants. Samsung may also offer exclusive colors directly through its website. The smartphone is rumored to be available in storage configurations of 256GB and 512GB, mirroring the offerings of the Galaxy Z Flip 6.
In contrast, the more affordable Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE is anticipated to come in Black and White color options, with 128GB and 256GB of onboard storage. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold 7, which features a book-style design, is expected to launch in Blue Shadow, Jet Black, and Silver Shadow color options, and it is likely to offer 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage configurations.
Samsung is reportedly set to host its Galaxy Unpacked event on July 9 in New York, where the company is expected to introduce these new foldable devices, along with the Galaxy Watch 8 smartwatches and others.
