The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 series is expected to introduce two new artificial intelligence (AI) features, as unveiled by recent leaks. Anticipation builds for the unveiling of the next generation of Samsung’s flagship smartphones, which is set to take place at the Galaxy Unpacked event on January 22. Ahead of the launch, Samsung has hinted at these AI innovations.
Potential AI Features for Samsung Galaxy S25 Series
A post on Technoblog has revealed that Samsung is preparing to incorporate two AI features into the Galaxy S25 series that have not yet been officially announced. The leak originates from a source who claims to have obtained promotional materials detailing these enhancements.
The first feature involves the integration of Google’s Gemini AI with Samsung’s proprietary applications. The source reported that Gemini will be able to access apps such as Calendar, Notes, and Reminder, thereby enabling the AI assistant to undertake more complex tasks that were previously unmanageable. An X (formerly known as Twitter) user had previously reported similar details in a tweet.

According to the leaked promotional image, users will be able to activate the assistant with the command “Hey Gemini” and request it to extract specific information from a YouTube video and save it into Samsung Notes, showcasing its enhanced capabilities.
Currently, Gemini is able to interact with several Google applications like Maps and YouTube through extensions. It appears that similar extensions will be employed for Samsung’s apps. However, given that the company has already hinted at an AI update for its existing Bixby assistant, questions arise regarding how the enhanced integration of Gemini might affect Bixby’s usage.
The same source also suggested that a new feature called Now Brief will debut alongside the Galaxy S25 series. This feature is designed to present a summary of the user’s day in card format. Images shared indicate three distinct screens, with the first greeting users with “Good morning” alongside the weather forecast and an energy score, potentially derived from data collected by a Galaxy Watch or Galaxy Ring.

The second screen, titled “For your route,” presumably provides information relevant to navigation and music apps, designed to assist users while traveling. Lastly, the “Night summary” screen appears to offer insights into “memorable moments” and daily activity milestones. The existence of additional screens within the Now Brief functionality remains uncertain.
It is important to note that Samsung has yet to confirm these AI features, and their inclusion at the Galaxy S25 series launch remains speculative. Official details will be unveiled in due course.
