Specifications for the camera of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge have emerged online, revealing further insights into the device’s construction materials. First introduced at the Galaxy Unpacked event in January, the Galaxy S25 family includes the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra models. The design of the Galaxy S25 Edge was subsequently disclosed in March during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 held in Barcelona. This new smartphone is anticipated to feature the thinnest body in the Galaxy S25 lineup.
Anticipated Build Specifications for the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge
According to a post by well-known tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks) on X, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to incorporate titanium bezels along with a new Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 for display protection. While this innovative material is yet to be officially released, the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ models currently use Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and the Galaxy S25 Ultra is equipped with Gorilla Glass Armor.
Recent leaks indicate that the Galaxy S25 Edge may feature a 200-megapixel primary rear camera, accompanied by AI-enhanced productivity features and advanced imaging tools. It is said to have a profile measuring just 5.8mm in thickness, weighing approximately 163g.
The device is rumored to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and will run on One UI 7, based on Android 15. Storage options are expected to include 256GB and 512GB configurations.
The pricing for the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is projected to start at CAD 1,678.99 (about INR 1,03,000) for the 256GB model, while the 512GB variant might be priced at CAD 1,848.99 (roughly INR 1,14,000). This positions the device to be more expensive than the Galaxy S25+, which retails at CAD 1,438.99 (approximately INR 88,500), yet less than the Galaxy S25 Ultra, priced at CAD 1,918.99 (about INR 1,18,000).
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is anticipated to make its debut in China and South Korea on May 23, with subsequent launches in the United States and other regions on May 30.
In addition to the primary 200-megapixel rear camera, the Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to include a 12-megapixel secondary camera. It is set to feature 12GB of RAM and a 6.6-inch display. The smartphone is rumored to be equipped with a 3,900mAh battery that supports 25W charging, and it will likely be available in color options including Titanium Icy Blue, Titanium Jet Black, and Titanium Silver.
