The launch date for the Samsung Galaxy M36 5G in India has been officially announced. Following a recent teaser that highlighted its design and projected pricing, the company has now confirmed several critical specifications of the device, including details about its camera, build quality, and dimensions. Positioned as a successor to the Galaxy M35 5G, which debuted in July 2024, the Galaxy M36 5G will feature a triple rear camera setup.

Samsung has slated the launch of the Galaxy M36 5G for June 27 in India, according to a recent press statement. A live microsite on Amazon indicates that the smartphone will be available for purchase via the e-commerce platform as well as the official Samsung India website. Customers will have options to choose from three colors: Orange Haze, Serene Green, and Velvet Black.
According to Samsung, the Galaxy M36 5G will have a thickness of 7.7mm and features Corning Gorilla Glass Victus for screen protection. The device will also incorporate AI functionalities, including Google Gemini and Circle to Search.
On the hardware front, the Galaxy M36 5G will be equipped with a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup that supports optical image stabilization (OIS). The camera sensors will be arranged within a pill-shaped module, and an LED flash will be positioned nearby. Both the front and rear cameras are expected to support 4K video recording capabilities.
Earlier, Samsung hinted at the anticipated pricing for the Galaxy M36 5G, stating that it would retail for under Rs. 20,000 in India.
Moreover, the model SM-M366B of the Galaxy M36 5G was recently listed on Geekbench, suggesting that the smartphone may be powered by an Exynos 1380 SoC, accompanied by 6GB of RAM. It is expected to ship with Android 15 and One UI 7 right out of the box.
