The Redmi Turbo 4 Pro is expected to make its debut alongside the standard Redmi Turbo 4, which was launched in China earlier this year in January. The Pro variant may be introduced later this month, as indicated by a senior executive from Redmi who confirmed that a new smartphone featuring the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC is on the way. This model is likely to be the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro. Previous leaks and reports have unveiled several key specifications for this upcoming device.

Anticipated Launch of Redmi Turbo 4 Pro

Thomas Wang, General Manager of Redmi, shared on Weibo that a new smartphone equipped with the freshly announced Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC will be unveiled shortly. This advanced chipset, built on a 4nm process, supports configurations of up to 24GB LPDDR5x RAM along with UFS 4.0 storage. It promises to deliver up to a 31% enhancement in CPU performance compared to its predecessor, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC.

While Wang did not specifically name the smartphone, his interactions with users suggest that the device in question is the highly anticipated Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, which may launch in China during April. A user commented positively about the Turbo 4 Pro, asking if it would be available this month, to which Wang confirmed the expectation.

Previous reports indicate that the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro will feature a 1.5K resolution display and is rumored to house a battery exceeding 7,000mAh capacity. It is expected to offer a premium look and feel with flagship-grade color, material, and finish (CMF) elements in the midrange segment, potentially including a glass back and a metallic middle frame. The device is also anticipated to be released globally as the Poco F7, including in markets like India.

In comparison, the standard Redmi Turbo 4 includes a MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra SoC, a 6,550mAh battery with support for 90W wired fast charging, a 6.67-inch 120Hz 1.5K OLED display, a dual rear camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel sensor, and a 20-megapixel front-facing camera. The starting price for the handset in China is CNY 1,999, which is approximately ₹23,500 for the 12GB + 256GB model.
