Xiaomi’s sub-brand, Redmi, is preparing to launch a new color variant of the Redmi Note 14 Pro series in India. The company made the announcement on social media, revealing that the new Champagne Gold option for the Redmi Note 14 Pro and Redmi Note 14 Pro+ will be unveiled on July 1 at 12 PM.
The Redmi Note 14 Pro series was initially launched in December 2023, offering consumers three color options at that time. The Redmi Note 14 Pro features a MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra SoC, while the Pro+ variant is powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC. Both models are equipped with triple rear camera systems and boast an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
To generate excitement for the forthcoming color release, Redmi showcased a promotional poster on X highlighting the new Champagne Gold finish. Additionally, the company has created a dedicated landing page on its official website to tease the arrival of the new variant. The Champagne Gold color will join the existing options of Spectre Blue, Phantom Purple, and Titan Black, which have been available since the series’ launch.
Pricing and Specifications of Redmi Note 14 Pro and Pro+
The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ was introduced at a starting price of Rs. 29,999 for the base model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, while the Redmi Note 14 Pro started at Rs. 23,999 for the same RAM and storage configuration. It is anticipated that the Champagne Gold variant will retain the same pricing structure and specifications as its counterparts.
Both the Redmi Note 14 Pro and Pro+ feature a 6.67-inch 1.5K display with a resolution of 1,220×2,712 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The Pro+ variant includes the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, while the Pro model is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra processor. They are equipped with a triple rear camera setup, led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor, and a 20-megapixel front-facing camera.
The Redmi Note 14 series is built to sustain elements with its IP68 rating. The Pro+ variant is equipped with a substantial 6,200mAh battery supporting 90W fast charging, while the standard Pro model features a 5,500mAh battery with 45W fast charging capabilities.
