The announcement was made via a post on Weibo, where the brand also hinted at the phone’s appearance on the TENAA certification website, revealing crucial specifications such as the chipset, battery, display, and camera information. This new model is expected to be part of the Red Magic 10 series, alongside the Red Magic 10 Pro+ and Red Magic 10 Pro, which were launched in November 2024.

According to the latest Weibo post, the Red Magic 10 Air will come in three distinct colors: Flame Orange, Frost Blade White, and Shadow Black. The design images indicate that the smartphone will feature a dual rear camera setup.
The Flame Orange variant has helped confirm that the device will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. The manufacturer also shared that the smartphone will have a metallic middle frame and will measure 7.85mm in thickness, contributing to a lightweight form factor.
Further information from the TENAA listing reveals that the Red Magic 10 Air will have dimensions of 164.3mm by 76.6mm and will weigh approximately 205g. The device is expected to sport a 6.8-inch 1.5K OLED display with a resolution of 1,116×2,480 pixels, featuring an integrated fingerprint sensor for enhanced security.
The TENAA listing specifies that the smartphone will come with varying RAM options, including 12GB, 16GB, and 24GB, in addition to storage variants of 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB.
