The specifications for the Realme P4 series were recently showcased through a microsite on Flipkart. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has now provided additional details regarding the hardware features of its forthcoming devices. The Realme P4 series is set to debut in India next week, with availability through the e-commerce platform and the company’s official website. A Realme executive has indicated that the brand will forgo the launch of an Ultra model to streamline its product lineup in the country.
Realme P4 5G, P4 Pro 5G Specifications Confirmed
On Tuesday, Realme announced that the standard P4 5G will be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra 5G chipset, complemented by a dedicated Pixelworks chip. The device will feature a 6.77-inch HyperGlow AMOLED display, boasting Full-HD+ resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and peak brightness levels reaching up to 4,500 nits in certain conditions. Additionally, the screen will offer 3,840Hz pulse-width modulation (PWM) dimming, along with hardware-level blue light and flicker reduction.
The Realme P4 5G will include a robust 7,000mAh Titan battery with 80W fast charging capabilities. The company estimates that users can enjoy up to 11 hours of gameplay on Battle Ground Mobile India (BGMI). Furthermore, the device is reported to be capable of charging approximately 50 percent in just 25 minutes. It will also support reverse charging, AI smart charging, and bypass charging. To ensure optimal thermal management, the device will utilize a 7,000 sq mm AirFlow VC cooling system.
In contrast, the Realme P4 Pro 5G will be powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, coupled with a dedicated HyperVision AI GPU. The smartphone’s thickness is stated to be 7.68mm. It will also feature the same 7,000mAh battery and 80W fast charging as the standard P4 variant, with expected charging times remaining consistent. Additionally, it will support 10W reverse charging and is claimed to provide over eight hours of BGMI gameplay at 90FPS. The Pro variant will share the thermal management system with the standard version.
The HypeGlow AMOLED 4D Curve+ display on the P4 Pro 5G will refresh at 144Hz and has a peak brightness of 6,500 nits. It carries HDR10+ certification and supports high-frequency dimming at 4,320Hz. The display’s eye protection features have received certification from TÜV Rheinland.
Francis Wong, Head of Product Marketing at Realme, recently disclosed that the prices for both the Realme P4 5G and P4 Pro 5G will be under Rs. 30,000. Additionally, the executive hinted at the possibility of not introducing a P4 Ultra model, aiming for a leaner product range.
