The Realme Neo 7 Turbo is poised for its debut in China on May 29. Promising to stand out with a translucent back panel, the new smartphone will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chipset alongside a dual rear camera system. Further details regarding the device’s display has been unveiled, and its battery specifications have also been confirmed. This latest model is expected to incorporate a range of enhancements compared to the original Realme Neo 7, which was launched in December 2024.
Details on Display, Battery, and Features of the Neo 7 Turbo
According to a post on Weibo, the Realme Neo 7 Turbo will feature an impressive 7,200mAh battery that supports 100W wired fast charging. This marks a significant upgrade from the base model, which has a 7,000mAh battery and supports 80W charging.
Realme has also revealed that the Neo 7 Turbo will come equipped with a BOE Q10 flat display, offering a narrow bezel of just 1.3mm, a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, a PWM dimming rate of 4,608Hz, and a peak brightness that can reach 1,800 nits. According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the phone’s display is expected to measure 6.8 inches.
In a separate announcement, Realme stated that the Neo 7 Turbo has achieved IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for its dust and water resistance, indicating strong durability. Additionally, the device will feature dual stereo speakers and support the Sky Communication System 2.0.
It has been confirmed that the Realme Neo 7 Turbo will run on a MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chipset, with official listings showing configurations of 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, 16GB+256GB, and 16GB+512GB in terms of RAM and storage. The smartphone will also feature a dual rear camera system and will be available in Transparent Black and Transparent Grey color options.
For comparison, the original Realme Neo 7 is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset and offers configurations of up to 12GB of RAM. The device includes a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 16-megapixel selfie camera, and sports a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
