The global launch of the Realme GT 7 and Realme GT 7T is scheduled for later this month, with India among the key markets targeted. Ahead of the official announcement, Realme has revealed plans for a special edition model, the Realme GT 7 Dream Edition, which will be released in tandem with the standard GT 7 version. This Dream Edition is expected to feature a unique design while sharing the same internal specifications as the standard edition. It has been confirmed that the Realme GT 7 will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9400e SoC.
Realme GT 7 Dream Edition India Launch Revealed
On Friday, Realme took to X (formerly Twitter) to tease the launch of the Realme GT 7 Dream Edition, set for May 27, alongside the standard GT 7 and GT 7T models. The event will commence at 1:30 PM IST and consumers will be able to buy the devices through Amazon.
While the teaser does not show the design of the Dream Edition, it features an image of an F1 racing car concealed under a cover. This suggests that the Realme GT 7 Dream Edition may come with special theme icons, unique design features, and premium packaging to distinguish it from the standard version.
In line with past special editions from the brand, the new model is expected to differ aesthetically from the standard Realme GT 7 while maintaining the same technical specifications.
Realme has indicated that the GT 7 will be available in two colors: IceSense Blue and IceSense Black. It will be equipped with a robust 7,000mAh battery and support 120W wired charging. The device will also incorporate the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chipset.
Rumors suggest that the Realme GT 7 boasts a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPS AMOLED display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate and an impressive 6,000 nits peak brightness. The camera system is expected to include a triple rear setup, consisting of a 50-megapixel primary lens, a 50-megapixel telephoto lens, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens.
Recent leaks indicate that the Realme GT 7 may carry a price tag of EUR 799 (approximately Rs. 77,000) for the model equipped with 2GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
