In a recent post celebrating the 30th anniversary of PlayStation, the company included an image featuring various PlayStation products, among which a distinctive PS5-like design caught the eye. This design, observed from the side, featured three stripes running across the side plate and suggests a prototype version of the anticipated console.
This design echoes a previously leaked concept of the PS5 Pro. A trustworthy source disclosed last month that an official reveal was likely in early September, along with a sketch showing the PS5 Pro’s similar aesthetics to the PS5, but with the addition of the stripes on the side plate.
The PS5 Pro has been a widely speculated topic in the gaming community, particularly concerning its potential hardware improvements. With a noticeable decline in PS5 sales, there is growing expectation for Sony to introduce the ‘Pro’ version of its current console in anticipation of the Holiday 2024 market.
