Sony has announced the new titles set to be added to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for the month of May. Leading the lineup is Red Dead Redemption 2, a critically acclaimed action-adventure game developed by Rockstar Games. Additional titles joining the catalog include the cooperative shooter Crime Boss: Rockay City, the multiplayer FPS Deceive Inc., and the survival simulation Stranded: Alien Dawn, among others. These games will be accessible to PS Plus Extra and Deluxe/Premium tier members starting May 21.
The announcement was made on the PlayStation Blog on Wednesday, coinciding with the earlier reveal of the free PS Plus games for May. All PS Plus subscribers can enjoy four complimentary titles this month: EA Sports FC 24, Ghostrunner 2, Tunic, and Destiny 2: Lightfall.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is making a comeback as part of the PS Plus offerings. Previously removed from the catalog in September 2022, this open-world game serves as a prequel to the 2010 title Red Dead Redemption. The narrative follows the journey of infamous outlaw Arthur Morgan and the Van Der Linde gang during a time of decline for the Wild West, exploring themes of law enforcement and outlawry in the early 1900s.
Players can navigate a vast world filled with bustling towns, expansive wilderness, and treacherous landscapes. Engaging in missions such as bank heists and train robberies, gamers have the freedom to participate in various side activities, like hunting and fishing. Compatible with both PS4 and PS5 through backward compatibility, the title promises an immersive experience.

Another notable release, Crime Boss: Rockay City, is a cooperative first-person shooter featuring a cast of renowned Hollywood actors including Michael Madsen, Chuck Norris, and Danny Trejo. Players can form a criminal gang and undertake missions within the game’s narrative, inspired by 1990s crime films. It is exclusively available on the PS5.
The PS Plus Game Catalog will also include Deceive Inc., a multiplayer title in which competing teams of spies aim to secure a package. Players can utilize a holographic projector to disguise themselves as other characters or objects, emphasizing stealth and strategy as essential gameplay components. This title will also be released on the PS5.

The game will be available on both PS4 and PS5.
