Ubisoft is expanding its reach by bringing the action-adventure game Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown to mobile platforms after its initial launch on consoles and PC. The game debuted on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S in January 2024, followed by a Windows release via Steam in August 2023. Starting next month, both Android and iOS users will have the opportunity to experience the game on their devices.
Mobile Pricing and Launch Details
The mobile version of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will be priced at EUR 14.99 (approximately Rs. 1,400) in several international markets, according to Ubisoft’s announcement. For the first three weeks following its launch on April 14, the game will be available at a promotional price of EUR 9.99 (around Rs. 900).
Players can download the game on their smartphones or tablets, with pre-registration already available. Interested users can sign up via the App Store and the Play Store. A free trial that includes the game’s introduction will also be offered to users.

The mobile iteration of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown has been refined by Ubisoft’s Da Nang studio. Players can look forward to offline gameplay, with optimizations that allow for frame rates up to 60fps, ensuring a fluid experience on most current-generation devices.
In addition to compatibility with external controllers, the mobile version will feature touch controls, allowing players to customize their gaming experience. This includes options for remapping controls, adjusting the size and position of inputs, and modifying transparency settings.
Notable features designed specifically for the mobile experience include auto-potion, auto-parry, slow-motion options, and various quality-of-life enhancements. Accessibility features like the Eye of the Wanderer enable players to take screenshots and pin them to maps for easier navigation. The game also includes optional elements such as adaptable difficulty settings for combat and platform assistance.
Set within the enchanting realm of Mount Qaf, players will assume the role of Sargon, a young Persian warrior from the group known as The Immortals. The main quest involves rescuing the kidnapped Prince Ghassan and helping to restore harmony to a land beset by curses.
