The Poco F7 has generated considerable buzz in recent weeks, with its official launch appearing imminent. The device has been listed on the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) website, which suggests that an announcement could be forthcoming. The F series Poco smartphone is anticipated to showcase specifications similar to those of the recently released Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, first presented in China in April. It is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC. In March, the Xiaomi sub-brand introduced the Poco F7 Ultra and Poco F7 Pro in selected global markets.
The FCC listing, identified by the site XpertPick, reveals the Poco F7 model number 25053PC47G. The inclusion of the letter ‘G’ in the model number may indicate that this is the global version of the handset. According to the listing, the Poco F7 is expected to support various 5G networks, in addition to Wi-Fi 802.11ax/be, Bluetooth, and NFC capabilities.
Images from the listing provide a glimpse of the unannounced Poco F7, featuring a hole-punch display design. The smartphone is likely to operate on HyperOS 2.0, which is based on Android 15.
Just last week, the Poco F6 successor was noted on the IMDA website, also with the model number 25053PC47G. It has additionally been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) site with a slightly different model number, 25053PC47I, suggesting plans for availability in the Indian market.
Expected Specifications of Poco F7
The upcoming Poco F7 is rumored to mirror the specs of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, which was unveiled in China recently. If these speculations hold true, the Poco F7 might be equipped with a 6.83-inch 1.5K (1,280×2,800 pixels) OLED display, a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, a dual rear camera setup boasting a 50-megapixel sensor, and a robust 7,550mAh battery featuring 90W charging support.
This March, Poco launched the F7 Ultra and F7 Pro in select regions. Both devices spotlight a 6.67-inch WQHD+ display and utilize a 50-megapixel Light Fusion 800 primary rear camera. The Poco F7 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, while the Ultra variant boasts a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
