Following this release, the tech community has been buzzing about the upcoming Poco F7, which is anticipated to launch in May or June. Recent certification hints indicate that the phone’s official debut may be just around the corner.
According to reports from XpertPick, the unannounced Poco F7 has surfaced on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website, carrying the model number 25053PC47I. The listing, which appears to have been recorded on Monday, suggests that the device may soon become available in India. The model number includes “2505,” reinforcing the speculation of a May rollout. However, specific details regarding the device’s specifications remain undisclosed.
Speculated Specifications of the Poco F7
The Poco F7 is expected to serve as the international variant of the forthcoming Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, likely scheduled for an unveiling in China later this month or in early May. It is rumored to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. The device might feature a 1.5K resolution display and a design that includes a glass body with a metal frame. Additionally, there are indications that it will be equipped with a substantial 7,550mAh battery and support for 90W charging.
The current Poco F7 lineup comprises the F7 Ultra and F7 Pro models. Both of these devices showcase a 6.67-inch WQHD+ display and are fitted with a 50-megapixel Light Fusion 800 primary rear camera. The F7 Pro is driven by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, while the Ultra model utilizes a more advanced Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. In terms of battery capacity, the F7 Ultra is equipped with a 5,300mAh battery, while the F7 Pro features a larger 6,000mAh battery.
