Google is anticipated to unveil the Pixel 10 series in August, with growing interest surrounding the standard Pixel 10 smartphone. A recent leak has surfaced, detailing various features anticipated for the device.

The leaks indicate that the Pixel 10 will come with a larger battery and enhanced wireless charging capabilities. It is expected to be powered by Google’s proprietary Tensor G5 chipset and may offer up to 12GB of RAM. The device will reportedly showcase a 6.3-inch display, complemented by a triple rear camera system that includes a new telephoto sensor.

Key Specifications of the Pixel 10 Unveiled

According to Android Headlines, the projected specifications of the Pixel 10 align with rumors of its release scheduled for August 20. The smartphone is expected to feature a 4,970mAh battery, an increase from the 4,700mAh found in the previous Pixel 9. Additionally, it will likely support 29W wired charging and up to 15W Qi2 wireless charging, marking an upgrade from the 27W wired charging speed of its predecessor.

The display is set to be a 6.3-inch full-HD+ panel boasting a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR brightness peaking at 2,000 nits, a step up from the 1,800 nits maximum brightness of the Pixel 9. Users can also expect Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection for durability.

Under the hood, the Pixel 10 is expected to utilize a Tensor G5 chipset built on TSMC’s 3nm fabrication process. The camera configuration is said to include a triple rear camera setup, featuring a 48-megapixel main sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 10.8-megapixel 5x telephoto sensor. It is noteworthy that the ultra-wide camera resolution appears to be a reduction from the 48-megapixel sensor used in the Pixel 9.

The smartphone is anticipated to come equipped with 12GB of RAM and will be available in 128GB and 256GB storage configurations.

Earlier leaks suggest the Pixel 10 will introduce several improvements, including better speaker performance and advanced image stabilization comparable to gimbals. However, it reportedly will not feature Wi-Fi 7 or vapour chamber cooling.

The official launch of the Pixel 10 is expected to occur during a Made by Google event on August 20, alongside announcements for the Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold models, with retail sales anticipated to start on August 28.
