Oppo is gearing up to unveil the Find X8 Ultra on April 10 in China, coinciding with the launch of the Find X8s series. Following recent design teasers, Oppo has now disclosed key specifications for its forthcoming flagship model. The Oppo Find X8 Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, feature a 2K resolution display, and house a substantial 6,100mAh battery. Additionally, the device will be equipped with a quad rear camera setup, boasting four 50-megapixel sensors.
Specifications of the Oppo Find X8 Ultra
Recent teasers from Oppo confirm that the Find X8 Ultra will run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It will feature a 6.82-inch LTPO OLED display, with a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. This display is designed with narrow 1.4mm bezels. The smartphone will come pre-installed with ColorOS 15 and will support fast charging capabilities, offering 100W wired and 50W wireless charging options.
The upcoming Find X8 Ultra, like the standard Find X8 and Find X8 Pro models, will be IP68 and IP69 certified, ensuring its water and dust resistance. In terms of photography, the device will showcase a quad rear camera configuration, consisting of a 50-megapixel Sony Lytia LYT-900 1-inch sensor, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 ultra-wide angle camera, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX906 telephoto lens, and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 sensor. This new model is expected to utilize Oppo’s advanced Lumo image engine for enhanced photography.
The launch event for the Oppo Find X8 Ultra is scheduled for April 10 at 7:00 PM local time (4:30 PM IST) in China. During the event, Oppo will also introduce the Find X8s and Find X8s+ smartphones, alongside the Watch X2 Mini smartwatch, Pad 4 Pro tablet, and Enco Free 4 earbuds.
The Oppo Find X8 Ultra is anticipated to be available in colors such as Hoshino Black, Moonlight White, and Morning Light (translated from Chinese). Pre-reservations for the device have already opened in China, with configurations offered in 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB RAM and storage options. Notably, the highest variant will include satellite communication capabilities.
