The Oppo Reno 14 series is set to make its official debut in China next week. The company announced the launch through a Weibo post, revealing that the new series will feature the standard Oppo Reno 14 and its more advanced sibling, the Reno 14 Pro. Alongside the smartphones, Oppo will also introduce the Oppo Pad SE tablet and the Enco Clip wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds. The company has opened pre-reservations for these devices on its official online store in China, showcasing design details in the process.
Launch Date for Oppo Reno 14 Series Announced
Scheduled for May 15 at 4:00 PM local time (1:30 PM IST), the Oppo Reno 14 series will be unveiled during a launch event. This event will also mark the introduction of the Oppo Enco Clip and the Oppo Pad SE. While Oppo has only confirmed the Reno 14 series, industry expectations suggest that it will include both the Oppo Reno 14 and Reno 14 Pro, positioned as successors to the earlier Reno 13 and Reno 13 Pro models.
Teasers released on Weibo indicate that the Oppo Reno 14 series will be available in four color variants: Mermaid Princess, Half Summer, Green Lily Purple, and Reef Black (translated). Pre-reservations are now ongoing through Oppo’s official website in China.
Images revealed thus far highlight a redesigned dual rear camera system on the Reno 14 models. The primary two cameras are arranged vertically, while a third camera is enclosed within a distinct capsule-like ring just above the LED flash. The devices are also expected to feature a flat display with a hole-punch cutout for the front-facing camera. These renders appear to align with a recent design leak from prominent tipster Evan Blass.
The Oppo Enco Clip wireless earbuds have been confirmed to feature an open-ear design and are touted to deliver up to 9.5 hours of playback on a single charge. They will be offered in two color options: Pearlescent Sea and Star Rock Gray. The Oppo Pad SE will come in Starlight Silver and Night Blue finishes.
Previous leaks suggest that the Oppo Reno 14 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 chipset, whereas the Pro variant is expected to utilize the Dimensity 8450. Both models are rumored to boast a substantial 6,000mAh battery along with support for fast 80W charging.
