The Oppo Reno 14 series made its debut in China last week and is set to launch in select international markets shortly. The global editions will feature integrated Google Gemini capabilities, according to company officials. The Chinese models operate on Android 15-based ColorOS 15 and are equipped with 1.5K flat OLED displays, boasting IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. The Oppo Reno 14 and Reno 14 Pro are driven by MediaTek Dimensity 8350 and MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipsets, respectively.
Oppo Reno 14 Series to Features Google Gemini Integration
The global rollout of the Oppo Reno 14 series will include the integration of Google’s Gemini AI in key Oppo applications, such as Oppo Notes, Oppo Calendar, and Oppo Clock, as confirmed in a company press release. Similar to their Chinese counterparts, the global variants will come preloaded with Android 15-based ColorOS 15.
With the introduction of Google Gemini, users of the Oppo Reno 14 series will have the ability to access information and perform tasks directly within the Gemini chat via a simple command. Users can activate this chat feature by pressing and holding the “side button,” likely referring to the power button, as the Chinese versions do not have additional functional buttons apart from the volume control.
Oppo also indicated in the press release that with Gemini, users will soon be able to navigate between various applications seamlessly and execute complex tasks more efficiently. For example, users could instruct the Gemini application to read a lengthy document, provide a summary, and save it in Oppo Notes. Alternatively, they could watch cooking videos on YouTube to extract steps and store them in the native Notes app, or add upcoming trips to their Oppo Calendar.
The Chinese variants of the Oppo Reno 14 5G and Reno 14 Pro 5G feature 6.59-inch and 6.83-inch 1.5K flat OLED displays, respectively. The standard model is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 SoC, whereas the Pro variant utilizes the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset. Both models offer up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and as much as 1TB of UFS 3.1 storage.

Both models support 80W wired fast charging and include in-display fingerprint sensors.
