Following the recent introduction of the Oppo Reno 13 and Reno 13 Pro in India, new details about the next generation of the Reno series smartphones are starting to emerge. While previous leaks suggested that the Reno 14 series would feature a sleek and lightweight design with metal mid-frames, additional information has come to light. A tipster has shared what are believed to be official images of the Oppo Reno 14, revealing a design that closely resembles existing models.
Expected Design of the Oppo Reno 14
A prior leak indicating the design of the Reno 14 Pro showed a striking similarity to the current Oppo Reno 13 Pro. Now, tipster Digital Chat Station has posted two images on Weibo that claim to showcase the forthcoming Reno 14.
The shared images depict the Oppo Reno 14 from both the rear and the side. The first image showcases the rear camera module, highlighting a stylish flat white finish on the top half of the device. The camera layout features an R-shaped configuration, with two cameras situated on the left and a third lens encased within an additional capsule-shaped ring. Beneath this is a trio of LED flash units, all embedded within a slightly rectangular camera module.

The top half of the device, featuring its metal camera rings and smoothly chamfered edges, invokes a sense of nostalgia reminiscent of earlier iPhone models, particularly the iPhone 12. Additionally, Oppo appears to have adopted a flat one-piece sculpted glass rear panel, slightly elevated around the camera module.
The second image offers a side view of the same area. While the initial image only displays the volume rocker next to the rear cameras, this new perspective reveals both the volume and power/unlock buttons positioned on the side. The slim profile demonstrated in this image supports the previously reported assertions of a thin and lightweight design.
One detail that remains undisclosed, as noted in earlier reports, is the potential inclusion of a Magic Cube button on the Reno 14. It is rumored that this feature will be present on the Reno 14 Pro at launch, but there is currently no confirmation regarding its availability on the non-Pro variant. Both the Oppo Reno 13 and Reno 13 Pro are equipped with a metal mid-frame constructed from aluminium.
