Oppo has announced the impending launch of its Reno 14 5G series in India through a post on social media. While specifics remain limited, it is anticipated that the lineup will feature both the Reno 14 5G and Reno 14 Pro 5G, serving as successors to last year’s Reno 13 and Reno 13 Pro models. The devices were initially introduced in the Chinese market in May.
Promotional content related to the Reno 14 5G series has been shared on Oppo’s X handle. While no precise launch date has been confirmed, the phones are currently listed with a ‘coming soon’ tag. Previous reports indicate that the launch might occur in the first week of July.
The teaser image reveals a green variant of the Reno 14 5G series, showcasing a triple rear camera layout. Additionally, Oppo has established a dedicated webpage for the new models, which are also set to make their debut in various global markets shortly afterward.
Pricing and Specifications for Oppo Reno 14 5G Series (Anticipated)
Details regarding the pricing of the Oppo Reno 14 5G series have yet to be disclosed, though it is expected that the prices will align closely with their Chinese equivalents. The Reno 14 5G debuted in China with a starting price of CNY 2,799 (approximately Rs. 33,200) for the model featuring 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Meanwhile, the Reno 14 Pro 5G was available at CNY 3,499 (about Rs. 41,500) for the same RAM and storage specifications.
When launched in India, the Oppo Reno 13 5G and Reno 13 Pro 5G were priced at Rs. 49,999 and Rs. 37,999, respectively.
In China, both the Oppo Reno 14 and Reno 14 Pro operate on Android 15-based ColorOS 15. They are equipped with 50-megapixel selfie cameras and 50-megapixel main cameras featuring optical image stabilization (OIS). The Reno 14 boasts a 6.59-inch display and is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 SoC, whereas the Reno 14 Pro includes a larger 6.83-inch display and is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chip.
Battery capacity differs between models, with the Reno 14 offering a 6,000mAh battery and the Pro variant featuring a 6,200mAh battery. Both models support 80W wired fast charging, and the Pro variant additionally includes support for 50W wireless fast charging.
