Oppo has announced that its Reno 14 5G series will be launched globally in the near future. Originally revealed in China in May, the series has piqued the interest of consumers, especially with information surfacing about its expected launch timeline in India. A reliable source has indicated that the Oppo Reno 14 5G and the Reno 14 Pro 5G might debut in the Indian market soon, potentially mirroring the features of their Chinese versions. Earlier this year, the Oppo Reno 13 5G and Reno 13 Pro 5G were backed by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processors when they were introduced in India.
India Launch Timeline for Oppo Reno 14 5G Series
According to tipster Yogesh Brar, known on X as @heyitsyogesh, the Oppo Reno 14 5G and Reno 14 Pro 5G are anticipated to launch in India during the first week of July. This statement aligns with previous insights he shared regarding the series’ timeline for the Indian market. However, no specific launch date has been provided.
As of now, Oppo has not communicated a global launch date for the Reno 14 5G series. In India, the devices are expected to be available in two color options, including a distinctive Pearl White variant.
The Indian versions of the Oppo Reno 14 5G and Reno 14 Pro 5G are likely to closely reflect the specifications of their Chinese counterparts. The standard model is expected to be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8350, while the Pro version might utilize the Dimensity 8450 chipset. Both devices are anticipated to support 80W SuperVOOC fast charging, with battery capacities likely set at 6,000mAh for the standard edition and 6,200mAh for the Pro model. With regards to the camera systems, the lineup may feature 50-megapixel primary rear cameras, 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lenses, and 50-megapixel front-facing cameras.
In China, the pricing for the Oppo Reno 14 5G starts at CNY 2,799 (approximately ₹33,200) for the 12GB + 256GB variant, with the premium 16GB + 1TB model costing around CNY 3,799 (about ₹45,100). Meanwhile, the Oppo Reno 14 Pro 5G is priced at CNY 3,499 (about ₹41,500) for the 12GB + 256GB option, with the high-end 16GB + 1TB version priced at CNY 4,499 (approximately ₹53,400).
The Reno 13 5G series had been introduced in India back in January, with the Oppo Reno 13 5G priced at ₹37,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model, while the Reno 13 Pro 5G started at ₹49,999 for the 12GB + 256GB option.
