Earlier reports from Gadgets 360 suggested that the smartphones would debut in early August, and a new update backs this claim with a more defined timeframe. The Indian versions are expected to mirror their Chinese models closely and will feature both active and passive cooling systems for enhanced thermal management.
Expected Launch Timeline for Oppo K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro in India
According to previous reports from Gadgets 360, the Oppo K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro are set to launch in India in early August. A recent report from GSMArena has specified that the release is likely to happen between August 11 and August 14. Additionally, a live microsite on Flipkart confirms that the series will be available for purchase through the e-commerce platform, alongside Oppo’s official India e-store.
In an official announcement, the company revealed that the Oppo K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro will feature both active and passive cooling technologies. The active cooling system is equipped with a variable-speed centrifugal fan operating at 18,000 rpm, utilizing ultra-thin 0.1mm blades. This design aims to increase airflow while minimizing power usage and vibration noise.
The Oppo K13 Turbo series also boasts a substantial 7,000 sq mm vapor chamber along with a 19,000 sq mm graphite layer to facilitate passive heat dissipation.
The built-in fan modules of these smartphones are designed to meet IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 standards for water resistance. Each device is powered by a robust 7,000mAh battery. The base model is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset, while the Pro version is powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC. Both models feature a 6.80-inch 1.5K AMOLED display, dual rear cameras with 50-megapixel sensors, and 16-megapixel front-facing cameras.
