The Oppo Find X9 Pro is anticipated to debut later this year, following its predecessor, the Find X8 Pro, from 2022. Although the company has yet to make any formal announcements, recent leaks suggest intriguing details about the phone’s camera system. Reports indicate that the forthcoming Find X9 Pro could feature a triple rear camera arrangement, highlighted by a remarkable 200-megapixel telephoto periscope sensor. Furthermore, the device is expected to be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset.
Leaked Camera Specifications for Oppo Find X9 Pro
Reports suggest that Oppo plans to integrate a new Samsung ISOCELL HP5 28nm imaging sensor in the Find X9 Pro. This sensor is purported to be 1/1.56 inches in size and will support DCG-HDR (Dual Conversion Gain HDR) technology, enhancing the overall camera performance, particularly in achieving high-quality 10x zoom capabilities.
If the leaks prove accurate, the Find X9 Pro could be the first smartphone to showcase a 200-megapixel Samsung HP5 sensor in its periscope camera. However, the tipster has also noted that the telephoto capabilities of the new model may not match the performance of the dual periscope configuration found in the previous Find X8 Pro.
The leaked information implies that Oppo is moving away from its existing quad-camera, dual-periscope system to adopt a new triple rear camera setup. In contrast, the Find X8 Pro boasts a more complex camera array, featuring a 50-megapixel LYT-808 sensor as its main lens, along with additional 50-megapixel ultra-wide and two 50-megapixel periscope telephoto sensors from Sony.
The Oppo Find X9 Pro is projected to launch in the Chinese market during the fourth quarter of this year, alongside other models in the series, including the Find X9, Find X9 Plus, and Find X9 Ultra. Additionally, the device is expected to come with a 6.78-inch display and be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 system-on-chip.
