Details about these upcoming devices have surfaced through a Chinese tipster, who indicates that they will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity chipsets. The OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition is expected to feature a 6.77-inch display along with a dual rear camera system.

Leaking information on Weibo, the tipster Digital Chat Station disclosed insights regarding the upcoming OnePlus Ace 5 series smartphones. According to the post, the Ace 5 Racing Edition will mark the debut of the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e SoC, which is anticipated to be an enhanced version of the Dimensity 9300+ chipset and is manufactured on TSMC’s 4nm process node.
To boost gaming capabilities, the OnePlus Ace 5 model is expected to include the Fengchi gaming kernel. The MediaTek Dimensity 9400e is projected to outperform the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset.
In contrast, the previous models featured cutting-edge processors: the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro was equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Edition SoC, while the standard OnePlus Ace 5 incorporated a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip.
Though the recent post does not explicitly name the device, earlier rumors suggest that it is likely the OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition. This model is expected to launch alongside the OnePlus Ace 5 Supreme Edition, which is believed to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+. Both devices are anticipated to make their debut in China this May.
Rumors indicate that the OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition will feature a 6.77-inch OLED LTPS flat display equipped with an optical fingerprint scanner. The device is expected to sport a dual rear camera configuration, which includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 16-megapixel front camera. Additionally, it may be powered by a massive 7,000mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging capabilities.
The company had previously launched the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro and OnePlus Ace 5 in China in December, starting at a price of CNY 2,299 (approximately Rs. 26,000). Both devices come with up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB of storage, along with 6.78-inch displays that feature a 1.5K resolution.
