This model will be introduced alongside the OnePlus Nord 5 and the OnePlus Buds 4 TWS earphones. Additionally, OnePlus has confirmed the battery performance of the earbuds, while also unveiling availability information for all products, with some specifications of the Nord 5 and Buds 4 already verified.
Availability of OnePlus Nord 5 Series and OnePlus Buds 4
The OnePlus Nord 5 will be available for purchase in India starting July 9 at 12 PM IST. The Nord CE 5 will follow shortly, becoming available at midnight on July 12. Consumers can purchase the new smartphones and the OnePlus Buds 4 through the OnePlus India website, on Amazon, and at offline OnePlus retail locations.
Key Features of OnePlus Nord CE 5
Equipped with a 4nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Apex chipset and a Mali-G615 GPU, the OnePlus Nord CE 5 is set to feature LPDDR5X RAM. It will boast a robust 7,100mAh battery that supports 80W SuperVOOC fast charging, with a full charge achievable from 0 to 100 percent in just 59 minutes. Notably, a 10-minute charging session is expected to provide up to six hours of streaming on YouTube.
The device will also support bypass charging, and it incorporates a unique system called Battery Health Magic, which is designed to optimize charging cycles to maintain battery health over time.
For photography enthusiasts, the OnePlus Nord CE 5 will include a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 primary rear sensor, featuring Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). The camera will be capable of recording 4K video at 60fps and will utilize RAW HDR and Real Tone technology borrowed from the OnePlus 13 series. Additionally, the camera system supports Ultra HDR in Live Photos.
Specifications of OnePlus Buds 4
According to OnePlus, the Buds 4 can deliver a total battery life of up to 45 hours when used with the charging case, while the earbuds themselves are said to offer around 11 hours of use on a single charge. Fast charging capabilities will also be integrated into the earbuds.
The OnePlus Buds 4 will feature user-friendly touch controls, including slide gestures on the earbud stems for volume adjustment. They will support Steady Connect technology, which aims to maintain a stable Bluetooth connection even in outdoor settings. Additional features include Dual-Device connectivity, Google Fast Pair support, and an AI Translation functionality.
