Flat Screen, Customisable Button on OnePlus 13T
Louis Lee, President of OnePlus China, provided insights about the OnePlus 13T in a post on Weibo, a popular Chinese social media platform. According to the official, the upcoming smartphone will come with a compact and flat screen. While specific details are still pending, it is speculated to feature a 6.3-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1.5K and a 120Hz refresh rate. This differs from the flagship OnePlus 13, which boasts a 6.82-inch screen, indicating that the OnePlus 13T could provide a more manageable experience.
This aligns with recent discussions on Weibo by the company’s China president, who sought feedback on the idea of a small-screen flagship smartphone.
In addition to its sleek display, the OnePlus 13T is confirmed to include a shortcut key featuring customizable functions. An accompanying image indicates that this button will be positioned on the left side of the device, where the alert slider is located on the current OnePlus 13 model, potentially replacing it.
According to the official, the new button will support not only the standard mute, vibration, and ringer functions but will also allow users to toggle between various system operations. Lee also hinted at a “very interesting function” integrated into this button, with more information set to be revealed in due course.
Additional details regarding the OnePlus 13T are expected to emerge as the launch date approaches. The smartphone is rumored to officially unveil in April.
