The OnePlus 13s is anticipated to arrive in India shortly. While the company has not disclosed a specific launch date, multiple features regarding the new device have been unveiled. Recently, it was confirmed that the phone will include a customizable “Plus Key” feature, which is expected to take the place of the traditional Alert Slider. Additionally, the company has teased various color options for the device. The OnePlus 13s is believed to be a rebranded version of the OnePlus 13T, which made its debut in China this past April.
Color Variants and Features of OnePlus 13s
The OnePlus 13s is expected to be available in three different color variants. The company has released a video teaser on X, hinting that the phone may come in black, green, and pink, although the specific marketing names for these colors have yet to be announced.
In earlier communications, OnePlus confirmed the implementation of the customizable Plus Key on the OnePlus 13s. This innovative button aims to replace the Alert Slider that has been a staple on OnePlus devices. Besides providing similar functionality to the slider, the new key is designed to allow users to access AI features, adjust brightness, and more. It can also serve multiple purposes, including acting as a camera shutter, a recording button, or a shortcut for capturing screenshots with a single press.
The device is expected to boast a 6.32-inch display powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. A dedicated microsite on Amazon and the official landing page indicate that consumers will be able to purchase the phone through the e-commerce platform and the OnePlus India online store. Its design is thought to closely mirror that of the OnePlus 13T.
The OnePlus 13T was launched in China featuring a 6,260mAh battery capable of 80W fast charging, along with a dual rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel standard sensor and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. The front of the device houses a 16-megapixel selfie camera, and it is built with an IP65 rating, making it resistant to dust and splashes.
