The Nothing Phone 3 is set to make its debut in India and international markets shortly. The company has officially revealed the launch date, presenting this device as the first true flagship smartphone from the UK-based brand.
In the lead-up to the launch, the company has begun releasing teasers that highlight various aspects of the upcoming smartphone. Notably, this model may arrive without the trademark Glyph Interface, representing a substantial change in the company’s design trend. Previous leaks have hinted at key specifications and potential pricing for the device.
Launch Date and Availability of Nothing Phone 3 in India
According to a post on X, the Nothing Phone 3 will be unveiled on July 1 at 6 PM BST (10:30 PM IST). Further details about the smartphone’s features have not been disclosed at this time. It will be available for purchase in India through Flipkart.
Nothing’s CEO, Carl Pei, previously mentioned that the price of the Nothing Phone 3 could be around GBP 800, which is approximately INR 90,000. This represents nearly double the initial price point of the Nothing Phone 2, which was launched at INR 44,999 for the base 8GB + 128GB variant.
Recent leaks suggest that the starting configurations of 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB could be priced at $799 (around INR 68,000) and $899 (about INR 77,000), respectively. The smartphone is anticipated to be offered in black and white color options.
The upcoming Nothing Phone 3 has been teased to lack the Glyph Interface, a key design element featured in the previous Phone 1 and Phone 2 models. Excluding this feature signifies a notable shift in the company’s established aesthetic. Additionally, teasers have displayed a dual-tone textured back panel for the device.
Positioned as a “true flagship,” the Nothing Phone 3 is rumored to be powered by either the Snapdragon 8 Elite, MediaTek Dimensity 9400, or MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor. It is also expected to house a battery larger than 5,000mAh and include a triple rear camera setup, which may feature a periscope telephoto lens. More information regarding the smartphone is expected to emerge in the weeks leading up to the launch.
