The Nothing Phone 3 is set to make its debut in global markets, including India, in July. While the specific launch date has not yet been confirmed, the UK-based company led by Carl Pei has characterized the forthcoming device as its first “true flagship.” Furthermore, Pei has previously indicated the anticipated pricing for the smartphone. The new model is expected to feature the proprietary Glyph Interface that was seen in its predecessors, the Nothing Phone 2 and Phone 1. A design teaser for the Phone 3 has recently been released by Nothing.
Teaser Reveals Nothing Phone 3 Design
The company has shared a design teaser for the Nothing Phone 3 through a post on X. The teaser showcases a segment of the back panel, which features a dual-tone finish reminiscent of the Orange and White variants of the CMF Phone 2 Pro, launched by the Nothing sub-brand in India back in April.
Additionally, the teaser reveals an intriguing textured area that may feature a button-like component. It remains uncertain whether this element will serve a functional purpose or if it is in fact a button. The texture bears a resemblance to Braille, which could suggest a focus on accessibility in the product’s design.
Nothing has previously asserted that the Phone 3 will be its “first true flagship smartphone,” emphasizing the use of “premium materials.” The new device has also been hinted to include significant software and performance enhancements. It may be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite, MediaTek Dimensity 9400, or the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor. More details about the phone are anticipated to emerge as its launch date approaches.
Additionally, Carl Pei has teased that the pricing for the Nothing Phone 3 could be approximately GBP 800, which translates to around Rs. 90,000. The base model of the existing Nothing Phone 2 was priced at Rs. 44,999 at launch for the 8GB + 128GB variant. Other reports suggest that the Phone 3 may retail for approximately Rs. 55,000 in India.
Reports indicate that the Nothing Phone 3 may feature a battery capacity exceeding 5,000mAh, be powered by a Snapdragon chipset, and incorporate a triple rear camera setup. This device is expected to include a large primary sensor alongside a periscope telephoto lens.
