On Wednesday, Sony unveiled a new range of Chroma Collection peripherals for the PlayStation 5 in India, along with a limited edition DualSense controller themed around the popular video game Fortnite. The Chroma Collection features two DualSense wireless controllers and console covers, all boasting vibrant new finishes, while the Fortnite controller showcases designs inspired by Epic Games’ renowned Battle Royale game. These new products were first introduced during PlayStation’s State of Play event in September.
Pricing and Availability of Chroma Collection and Fortnite Limited Edition Controller
The Chroma Collection will be available in two striking color options—Chroma Indigo and Chroma Pearl. The price for the DualSense controllers in this collection is set at Rs. 6,849, while the console covers will retail for Rs. 5,569.
In contrast, the Fortnite Limited Edition DualSense controller will be priced at Rs. 7,490 in India. All PS5 peripherals are expected to hit the shelves at selected retailers across the country starting November 7. Consumers should be mindful that limited edition controllers and the visually appealing new color options for PS5 accessories tend to sell out rapidly online.

The Chroma Collection and the Fortnite-themed controller were highlighted at the State of Play event on September 24. The Chroma Collection introduces three new colorways for PS5 peripherals that “shine, shimmer, and shift colors from every angle.” The Pearl and Indigo options will be available starting November 7, with an additional Chroma Teal color set to launch on January 23, 2025.
The Fortnite Limited Edition DualSense controller, also revealed during the September showcase, features popular game characters Fishstick and Peely, adorned with graffiti-style artwork. This controller presents a classic blue color scheme.
Previously in September, Sony released the Astro Bot Limited Edition DualSense wireless controller to coincide with the launch of Astro Bot for PS5. This special white-and-blue version is currently priced at Rs. 6,820 in India.
